We constantly refine everything about our business to be lean, simple and clear.

Our passion is working with only the finest tools and techniques in designing and crafting our software. We’ll guide you throughout your project, sketching initial ideas and quickly prototyping functionality so you can start using and testing your app right away. At every stage, we’ll offer plain-English advice on the best ways to ensure your app meets its goals, and provides a pleasant experience for your customers.

Our Story

Plymouth Software was founded by Chris Blunt. After graduating from the University of Plymouth, Chris worked as a freelance developer for a few years, building large-scale web-applications in PHP and MySQL, and working with Java for mobile devices. Chris also lectured in software design and programming at the University of Plymouth in 2007-8.

A few years later, having moved to a large web development house, Chris began working with Ruby on Rails, and other modern web development tools. In July 2010, continuing a strong interest in everything mobile, Chris founded Plymouth Software to specialise in Web and Android app development.

Today, Plymouth Software continues to grow its portfolio of custom web and mobile applications. In January 2011, we moved to our current offices on Tamar Science Park, Plymouth.
